The play has been performed at the former Methodist church location on Gay Street many times over the years, and has become a true community event, a part of Christmas in Rappahannock. It includes not only acting, but singing and even some dancing by the “lusty, trusty shepherd boys."
Past actors and singers include such well known Rappahannock names as Howard Coon, Carol Lucking, Joyce Abell. Norm Getsinger, Mike Mahoney and Peter Hombostel The Theatre is proud of the fact that no aspiring actor or singer has ever been turned away.
