Friday, Sept. 18
• Rappahannock County High School Marching Band will travel to Woodstock, to perform a show with the 400 member strong Marching Royal Dukes of James Madison University during a football game at Central High School. RCHS is one o' only four high schools selected to participate. Pre-game performances begin at 7 p.m.. and will follow-up with a halftime show. The game features the Broadway Gobblers vs. the Central Falcons and begins at 7:30 p.m. RCHS Band Director David DeBoer invites the Rappahannock community to attend and show support for the oand.
• Open House hosted by the Rappahannock National Bank. 4-6 p.m.,. also on Saturday, Sept. 26 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.. for our Child Safety Open House. The Rappahannock County Sheriff's Office will be on hand to perform child safety seat inspections and provide child identification cards. Remember. September is Child Safety Month.
• RAAC's film is “Sugar" about a talented Dominican baseball player longing to break into the American big league and earn money to supDort his impoverished family. Events force him to reevaluate his life's ambition. Shown at 8 p.m., at The Theatre in Washington. Admission is $6 adults, $4 students. Popcorn, candy and water am available.

• Antiques Appraisal sponsored by the Rappahannock Historical Society, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the old Washington School auditorium on Mt. Salem Ave., Washington. Professional appraisers will inspect and offer informal estimates of the value of your antiques. Since this is a fundraiser, a small fee of $10/item or 3/$25 is requested.,Refreshments available for purchase. Opinions on the value of your possessions should not be considered formal appraisals.
