Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Compton of Amissville were named outstanding farm family for Rappahannock County at last Thursdays annual meeting of the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District. The dinner meeting was held at Graves Mountain Lodge at Syria and was attended by residents of Culpeper, Rappahannock, Orange, Madison and Fauquier, the counties which comprise the district.
