candy bars to raise money for e the Junior-Senior prom, t The National Honor 1 Society has been giving away < a cake at every home t basketball game. They are also going to have a literary 1 magazine to sell which will 5 contain stories and poetry f written by students. The i money made from the ' magazine and cake projects will be used on a trip to the ■ Kennedy Center for a day. i Thursday night’s game against Stonewall Jackson went pretty well. Although, we lost each game, both were very close. The varsity lost by seven points, Stonewall was an undefeated team until traveling to Luray Saturday night. Our varsity came very close to beating Stonewall and we want to say that we know how hard you tried. The J.V. tried hard too but they didn't win either. You really tried J.V.! This week the Panthers * travel to William Monroe on Tuesday and to Strasburg Thursday. We hope we have some support at the games, so come on out and join us while we cheer our girls to _ victory. s Friday, November 3 f students will ndt be attending school because of a teachers work day. We hope everyone will have a happy three-day weekend.
