Finally, Ken Robinson has voted for energy legislation which would encourage the development of more energy sources of all kinds, and which would remove our budget breaking dependence on Arab oil. Fickett, I assume, would support Carter’s bill which would tax .every drop of oil or gas we use, would not develop one gallon more of fuel, and , would return some of the collected taxes to those below an income level—after the federal bureaucracy took its cut, of course.
The' above is only two of many efforts to twist the record by Robinson’s challenger, who is also busy trying to portray himself as a conservative instead of the liberal he is. I work regularly with him in the General Assembly and know him well. Don’t be fooled by sucb opportunism!
