A funeral for Callie Virginia Ralls of Sperryville was held Tuesday at Geest Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper, conducted by the Rev. Archie Clatterbuck. Burial was in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Ralls, 82, widow ,of Houston George Washington Ralls, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 1978 at the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal. A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Wadie Clatterbuck and the late Edwina Clatterbuck Jones. She was a member of the Church of the Brethen.
She is survived by three sons, Raymond Ralls and Dennis Ralls, both of Sperryville, and Isaiah Ralls of Washington; three daughters, Mrs. Hilda Alther of Sperryville, Mrs. Edna Alther and Mrs. Ora Bell Horton, both of Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Jones of Browntown and Mrs. Susie Bailey of Hagerstown, Md.; a

Funeral services was held Sunday, Oct. 29 at Promised Land Baptist Church, Washington for Major Warfield Freeman conducted by the Rev. John Pendleton. Interment was held Oct. 30 at the Culpeper National Cemetery. *
Mr. Freeman, 54, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 1978 at Newton D. Baker Veteran’s Administration Center in Martinsburg, W. Va. He was a World War II veteran and a native of Washington.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Groves; two grandchildren Cynthia and Julian Groves of Falls Church.
