When Truman J. Keesey was a young man, he decided that he wanted a career with a goal that would take him all his life to complete. So he focused his attentions on the Diplomatic Corps, and emerged from George Washington University with an M. A. in Government. But at this point, he became sidetracked: for 45 years, Keesey has been energetically involved in public relations of almost every description, and even now, he is actively participating in local affairs.
For a decade or so, there had been continued vague talk about the formation of a Farmer’s Market Cooperative in Rappahannock County. However, it was not until Keesey, a newcomer to the county, took interest in the project that anything was actually decided upon and put into operation. Says
