It’s a woman’s world! All of the major prizes given at the Amissville carnival went to the female gender. Patty Atkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Atkins of Amissville was awarded the thousand dollar grand prize and Miss Bobbi Dunphy, a new resident of Amissville whose parents operate Ye Olde General Store (formerly Bel Air) received the second prize of $500.
The four $25 Savings Bonds went to Linda Putnam, Debbie Hopkins, both Amissville; Connie Berry and Dorothy M. Dodson, both Viewtown.
