The Flint Hill Rescue Squad answered a call June 23 to the Raymond Sutphin farm on Route 729 and transported Stan Yake from a hand-glider accident to Fauquier Hospital and then to Fairfax Hospital.
The Sperryville Rescue Squad responded to a call for an auto accident in Woodville June 19 but services were not used. On June 20 Mrs. Bessie Woodward was taken from her home in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial and June 21 James Johnson was taken from his home in Gid Brown Hollow to the same hospital. Mrs. G. W. Fullerton was taken from the home of her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Roy Reeve to Culpeper Memorial June 22.
