Weekly Film
The film of the week will be shown at 1 p.m. Wednesday July 4 at the parish hall in Washington. The film is called Runaway Railway, and is about a group of children who unwittingly become involved in an exciting adventure. They are waiting at Barming Station for the station to be closed down and their favorite engine, "Matilda,” to be broken up for scrap. Deciding to borrow time by a minor act of sabotage, the children succeed beyond their expectation, and Matilda takes them on a wild adventure.
There will not be a story hour at the library on July 4.
