Club Show

New officers for the Rappahannock County Garden Club were installed at the June 20 meeting held at Round About, home of Col. and Mrs. Dale Metzinger.

President is Mrs. Franklin Hume, vice president, Mrs. Robert J. Norvel, secretary Mrs. Joseph Nordone, and treasurer Mrs. John Marocchi.

At this meeting an intraclub flower show was held with five classes and horticulture specimens exhibited. The following awards were presented:

White Elephants: 1 Mrs. Douglas Fairfax, 2 Mrs. Ian Pryde, 3 Mrs. Hugh Chrisman, 4 Mrs. Morgan Johnston.

Bachelor's Kitchen: 1 Mrs. Tom Pillar, 2 Mrs. Charles H. Estes, 3 Mrs. Morgan Johnston and 4 Mrs. Joseph Nordone.

East Meets West: 1 Mrs. Charles H. Estes, 2 Mrs. Joseph Nordone, 3 Mrs. Maurice Herndon and 4 Mrs. H. C. Southerland.

Executive Suite: 1 Mrs. Robert Bridges, 2 Mrs. Charles H. Estes, 3 Mrs. Hugh Chrisman and 4 Mrs. Robert Norvel.

A Little Goes A Long Way: 1 Mrs. Hugh Chrisman, 2 -Mrs. Dale Metzinger, 3 Mrs. Robert Bridges and 4 Mrs. Sidney Mank.

Mrs. Franklin Hume was first in the horticulture specimens, followed by Mrs. George Davis, Mrs. Elmo Flynt and Mrs. Morgan Johnston.

Judges were Mrs. W. R. Williamson, Mrs. William Keim and Mrs. L. J. Turner. Mrs. C. H. Estes was clerk.
