McNear assured the BZA members that Rev. L. D. Savage of the N.P.E.S. church was not in violation of county ordinances. He reported that Savage had a building permit for a tabernacle, bathhouse and pavillion—all legal since churches are a use permitted by right in an agriculture zone.
