Jenkins
Graveside services for James Oscar Jenkins, 82, of Boston were conducted June 27 at Fairview Cemetery by the Rev. Frederick Hahn.
Mr. Jenkins died Sunday, June 24, 1979, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
A lifelong resident of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Will and Rebecca Jenkins. He was a retired farmer and a member of Etlan Free Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Ann Jenkins of Boston; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Whorton of Culpeper and Mrs. Mary Lee Smith of Boston; two sons, George E. and Charles William Jenkins, both of Culpeper; Five grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Emily Fincham of Washington and Mrs. Louise Alther of Sperryville; and four brothers, Howard, Lum and Tom Jenkins, all of Culpeper and Henry Jenkins of Etlan.
