Johnson Services for James Oliver Johnson, 71, of Washington were conducted June 26 at Promise Land Baptist Church by the Rev. John Pendelton. Burial was in the Poles family cemetery, Washington. Mr. Johnson died Friday, June 22, 1979, at his home. A lifelong resident of Rappahannock County, he was an auto mechanic. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Maude Glasker of Philadelphia, Pa.; a son, James O. Johnson III of Washington; 11 grandchildren, one greatgrandchild and a sister Mrs. Maude Hicks of Baltimore, Md.
