Roast Tickets

Tickets are now on sale at Washington Cash Store, Baldwins Grocery, Natures Food and the Rappahannock National Bank for the Washington Volunteer Fire Department’s old fashioned bull roast, scheduled this Saturday, September 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the carnival grounds.
Tickets are $7, $3.50 for children, at the door. Advance tickets are $6.50 and $3.25.
Chicken and fish dinners will be offered for non-beef eaters. Garden fresh vegetables, cole slaw, baked bread and iced tea will round out dinner. It will be “allyou-can-eat” as long as the food lasts.
In addition to the dinner, there will be live enn tertainment, door prizaa awarded each hour and a 1979 4-wheel drive pick-up truck given away at 8 p.m. j i • .
