Mrs. Lucy Ann Williams, 66, of Chester Gap, died Thursday, September 13, 1979 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday from the Chester Gap Baptist Mission with the Rev. William Alford and the Rev. Jimmie Burke. Burial was in the Williams Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams was born October 1, 1912, in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Emmett and Ida Mills Williams. She was a member of the Chester Gap Baptist Mission. She was predeceased by her husband, Sandy Carey Williams.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mattie Frazier and Mrs. Jessie Wines, both of Chester Gap; five sons, Lynwood Williams of Front Royal, Lawrence Williams, Haywood Williams, Elwood Wiliams and Leo Williams, all of Chester Gap. u
Also, one step-daughter, Mrs. Horace Dulin of Chester Gap; one stepson, Dalton Williams of Front Royal; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Mills, Mrs: Sidney Ritter, Mrs. Rebecca Ricker and Mrs. Lucille West, all of Huntly; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
