The Rev. and Mrs. Paul Thompson of Fork Union were weekend guests of Mrs. Frances Thornton. Mr. Thompson was speaker at the F. T. Baptist Church Sunday and presented his completed work on the history of the church.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy L. Reeve were Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Brown, Derek and Keith of Hanover, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. Roy B. Bobby R. Jenkins of Manassas spent the weekend with Mabel J. Deal and sons. Mrs. Deal and Mrs. Peggy Sisk of Slate Mills were Thursday dinner guests of Mrs. Ann Jenkins and daughter in Washington.
Mr. and Mrs. Fleming Padgett of Hendersonville, N. C. were Saturday overnight and Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kilby and attended Homecoming at F. T. Baptist Church.
