Whorton
Mrs. Elizabeth Fincham Whorton, 87, of Front Royal (formerly of Washington) died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roy Clatterbuck in Front Royal.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Washington Baptist Church, Washington, with the Rev. John K. Burke Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Whorton was born August 2, 1892 in Madison County, daughter of the late Albert and Jane Norman Fincham. She was predeceased by her husband, the late Brian Whorton.
She is survived by one son, Clarence Whorton of Washington; one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Whorton Clatterbuck; 8 grandchildren, 24 greatgrandchildren and 3 greatgreat grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ernest Fincham, Wilson Fincham, Waverly Frazier, Ernest Lillard, Frank Huff and Clarence Baldwin.
