Reunion
The Freeman family reunion held at ’‘Pigeon Cove” home of Mrs. Bessie Grigsby and family over the Labor Day weekend was attended by more than 150 relatives.
In addition to local friends and relatives out-of-town guests included: Mrs. Martha Curtis and Janice of Brooklyn, N. Y., Mr. and Mrs. Dudley B. Freeman and children of Sommerville, N. J., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Freeman and family of Plainfield, N. J., Capt. and Mrs. Lawrence Freeman, Carol and Bobby of Gunter Air Force Base in Alabama, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hemmons and Katrina of Bethlehem, Pa. and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Freeman of Philadelphia, Pa.
Those from the Front Royal area were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Green, Tracy and Chuckie, Mr. and Mrs. James R. Mundy and family, Mrs. Ressie Mathews, David Chunn, David Adams, George Meyers, Clarence Carter Jr., Mrs. Betty Carter and children. Coming from Culpeper were Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Beckwith, Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Gatewood, Angie and Reggie, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Orange and Komona.
