A rained-out baseball tournament rescheduled for Saturday morning will delay the start of the Rappahannock Athletic Association’s soccer program on September 22.
Eight to ten year olds will begin practice at the elementary school field at noon with a game at 1 p.m. Practice for 11 and 12 yearolds will start at 1 p.m. with a game at 2 p.m. Practice for 13-years-old and up will get under way at 2 p.m. with a game at 3 p.m.
High school students interested in playing soccer are invited to register and participate. The limited number of older soccer enthusiasts who turned out last Saturday forced a draft of younger players to round out the teams.
Parents are reminded to pick up their charges at the completion of the games, approximately 4:15 this Saturday.
