In other business. Bloomer reported that a state administrative review team wilt"'' make an on-site visit to Rappahannock schools on January 29-31 to ensure that all state and federal mandates for special programs are being met.
The board also approved an increase in liability coverage for the vehicle fleet under the school policy with the General Insurance Company in Culpeper. Mrs. Massie noted that the amount allocated in the 1979-80 budget for insurance will cover the approximately $300 premium increase.
PTA Meeting
The Rappahannock PTA will hold its first meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 26, at 7:30 in the elementary school. The PTA will host a coffee after the meeting to welcome elementary teachers.
School Board members have also been invited to the session to give parents the opportunity to talk to both the administration and faculty.
