Teachers are to bring all students suspected of drug or alcohol possession, use or distribution to the principal. Teachers are also expected to have knowledge of drugs and drug abuse and recognize symptons of drug use.
They are to report all suspected drug incidents, as well as the presence of strangers on school property, to the principal.
Teachers are also responsible for supervising school grounds, including rest rooms and locker rooms. In addition, they are required to relay any information regarding drugs or alcohol, even if the information was passed to them in confidence, on to the principal should the safety or health of a student be involved.
