CONSTRUCTION
Separate sealed Bids for the construction of a 400,000 gallon per day concrete extended aeration plant, with control building and appurtenant piping, roads, and plant site work, will be received by the Town of Elkton, Virginia at the office of the Town Clerk, 173 W. Spoofs wood Avenue, until 2:00 p.m. local time, Wednesday, October 31,1979.
At said place and time, and promptly thereafter, all bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of opening of the bids. Contract award date is anticipated to be late December, 1979.
The Contract Documents may be examined at the followina locations: (1) Town Clerk's office, 173 W. Spotswood Avenue, Elkton, Virginia and offices of Arthur Beard Engineers at (2) 1004 East Jefferson Street, Charlottesville, Virignia; (3) 559 Jones Franklin Road, Suite 120, Raleigh, N. C.; and (3) 6900 Wisconsin Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD 20015.
Sets of the Contract Documents may be obtained at the office of the Town Clerk located at 173 W. Spots wood Avenue, Elkton, VA upon payment of $50.00 per set payable by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or money order. Any Bidder or Non-bidder upon returning the Contract Documents promptly and in good condition, will be refunded $25.00.
Each bidder shall state plainly on his bid his Virginia State Registration Board number as evidence that he is qualified to contract for the work to be performed.
