Harvest Time

To the editor: It’s once again harvest time—the giving season marked by ripe crops and holidays ahead. Unless you are new in Rappahannock County, you know that FISH stands for our Christian Service Organization that helps those in need above and beyond official resources.

We have provided food, clothing, transportation for emergencies, and help and comfort in numerous ways over the three years since our beginning.

Never, in that time, has one cent of our money been used for overhead—all of it is spent to help others when a need arises.

Now, we have used all the generous donations of the past and our treasury is down to something under $10.00.

If you would like to give at this giving season to help us continue FISH in Rappahannock County, please mail your contribution to: FISH Christian Service Organization Box 85 i Washington, Virginia 22747 (Telephone: 675-3523)
