question comes up in regard to a county code and the board of supervisors is desirous of enacting a county code, I will cooperate with the board in every possible way to see that a code is enacted. However, I do not feel comfortable campaigning on a promise to see that a county code is enacted because 1 believe that violates my pledge to stay out of matters that fall within the jurisdiction of the board of supervisors.

On Wood
The Rappahannock County Extension Service is sponsoring a program on wood heat, Thursday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Courthouse in Washington.
Guest speakers Ginny McGetrick from Country Stoves. Forester Lyt Wood and Chimney Sweep Jim Northup will speak on the principles of wood heat, wood for wood stoves, chimney cleaning and safety.
