ASCS
ASCS Committee elections will be conducted by mail again this year. Rappahannock County has three community boundaries, the same as last year. A list of persons eligible to receive ballots will be posted in the county office by October 4.
A letter will be mailed to each eligible voter by this date, giving public notice of elections, community boundaries, and right to nominate by petition. A nominating petition form will be on the back of the letter which you may use to nominate a person of your choice to be a committee person from your community for 1980.
Special Service
The Usher Board of the First Baptist Church, Washington will Have a special service Sunday, October 6 at 4 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. R. P. Pringle from Haywood.
The public is invited to attend.
