If the leadership of the state Conference of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has its way, a new and potentially powerful wave of black political activism will roll into Virginia with the decade of the 80's.
At its convention in Roanoke last week, the Association, which is the largest black organization in the Commonwealth, called for a conference early next year to set such a wave in motion.
