William Eugene Williams Sr., 46, of Front Royal, died Thursday, September 27, 1979, in Warren Memorial ( Hospital, Front Royal.
Funeral services were held Sunday from Willis Chapel United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Peter Weems. Burial was in Willis Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Williams was born November 4, 1932, at Reager in Rappahannock County, son of the late Bossie and Violet Virginia Walters Williams. He was a former member of the Yorkshire Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Smedley Williams of Winchester; six sons, Steven Dale Williams of Bainesboro, Earl Williams, Norman Williams, William Williams Jr. and Arthur Williams, all of Front Royal and Robert Williams of Winchester; five daughters, Sharon Williams and Wanda Lee Williams, both of Winchester, Catherine Williams, Virginia Williams and Susan Williams, all of Front Royal; a brother, Cecil Williams of Front Royal; one sister, Linda Dolley of Front Royal and two grandchildren.
