In addition to year round club activities, 4-H’ers help out at the Hazel River Day Camp and attend the summer overnight camp at Powells Fort near Strasburg.

The 4-H night at the elementary school is part of the observance of National 4H Week, October 7-13. In addition to the sign-up of new members, an awards ceremony and installation of new club officers will be held.

Bridge Party

Mrs. Frances Tabler was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club Friday evening.

Guests were Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mrs. W. H. Cordle, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. Hugh Chrisman, Mrs. C. E. Johnson Jr. and Mrs. Roy L. Reeve.

Prize winners were Mrs. Reeve. Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Chrisman and Mrs, Thompsen.
