It was Friday, May 23. The day of the long awaited senior trip to New York City had finally arrived.
Thirty-eight seniors from RCHS and our five chaperons, Mr. and Mrs. Mills, Mr. Logan, Miss Stuart and Miss Jordan boarded the Continental Trailways at 9 a.m. sharp. As the big bus pulled away, we watched the envious eyes of the under classmen left at school. It seemed that all of our work and time on our funding raising activities was now being repaid.
