Melting Pot
There are so many neighborhoods of different nationalities and racesHarlem, Chinatown, Little Italy and Yorkville, just to name a few. I realized that New York is truly a “melting pot.” There are twenty-five main languages spoken in the city. The guide told us that in New York there are more Jews than in Israel, more Italians than in Naples, and more Irish than in Dublin. There are several Spanish newspapers and radio stations. One has to visit to grasp the vastness of the city.
