The Loudoun Pony and Junior Show scheduled for June 12-15 at the Glenwood Race Course, near Middleburg, will benefit the physical therapy department of Loudoun Memorial Hospital.
The Glenwood Course property was left in trust for the use and benefit of the hospital by Daniel Cox Sands, a horseman, farmer and banker from Middleburg. In bequeathing Glenwood Race Course to Loudoun Memorial. Sands accomplished two objectives. He wanted sporting events to continue at Glenwood after his death and he wanted to provide income for the hospital.
