To the editor:
As secretary I have been asked to correct a statement made in your nice interesting story on Mrs. Helen Kilby.
The Rappahannock Arts and Crafts are still meeting at my place as they have done off and on for 19 years, and we are still teaching most any craft a participant wishes to learn.
Recently we had classes on caning and weaving stool and chair seats, a full summer of pottery, and basket weaving.
These are but a few of th«* crafts on may learn from the group which meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. We will have a “planning” meeting on future projects the second Tuesday of September.
If you remember correctly the quilts mentioned we made and donated to the county’s five volunteer fire departments. Thank You.
