On Saturday’s the Triplett brothers make a shorter jaunt to Culpeper’s farmers market where the pace is a bit slower and they plan to open soon at their apple house in Linden on Saturdays and Sundays. “Every market’s different,” Ted reported. “We’re really working with profess-pros at the D. C. market. They’re really good.*’
Triplett emphasized that he hasn’t decided yet whether the truck garden business is going to be a permanent thing. Although he’s done well with greens and several other vegetables, it’s still too early to tell what the total return will be. “But I don’t mind taking a gamble,” he added.
