Burke
Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Helen Burke of Castleton were conducted Monday at the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper by the Rev. Richard Woodward. Burial was in Hilkrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton.
Mrs. Burke, 42, died Saturday, July 11, 1981, at Prince William Hospital in Manassas. A , native of Rappahannock, she was the daughter of Walter Edward and Ethel Sally Wharton of Castleton. Her husband was the late Ronnie Allen Burke.
Besides her parents, she is survived by four daughters, Carolyn Ann Burke of Culpeper, Edna Mae, Connie Sue and Dale Helen Burke, all of Castleton; three sons, Ricky Allen and Lewis Edward Burke, both of Castleton and Roy Lee Burke of Midland; and two grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Miss Rosie Wharton and Mrs. Dorothy Southard, both of Castleton, and two brothers, Clarence Wharton of Williamstown, N. J., and Archie Wharton of Amissville.
