Inherent in a democratic and pluralistic society is the right of its citizens to harbor many diverse beliefs and opinions within the confines of a common civilization. I respect the viewpoint of those who for moral or religious reasons oppose abortion as a personal option. 1 would never try to impose my own set of moral convictions on these persons. In the same vein, I don’t believe any group of people has the right to impose their own brand of morality on others under the cloak of law.
