Recently in the Rappahannock News, several persons have written in support of the pro-life movement. As a firm believer in the right of a woman to have the legal option of abortion, I feel there’s a different perspective on abortion that these persons need to see.
As people who will never be faced with the prospect of an unwanted pregnancy, they should know for most women, the choice of abortion is never a choice made without a great deal of turmoil and emotional pain. Having made this decision, I believe women should have the same access to safe and legal medical care as the women who choose to carry a pregnancy to term. To deny this right would only con
