Honor attendants were the bride’s cousin, Miss Suzanne Hamilton Nutt, and Mrs. John Carroll Shelton, Jr. Bridesmaids included the bridegroom’s sister. Miss Anne Katherine Stokes of Harrisonburg, Miss Catherine Johnson Dawson, Mrs. Bradley Angstrom Peete and Mrs. Edwin Carter Whitley of Greensboro and Miss Mary Turner Carroll of Charlotte.
