going toward buying jackets and shirts for the members. At the end of the year the Varsity Club purchases a gift for the school. At the meeting we discussed buying a rubber 4 floor mat with a panther on it for the front hall of the school. "Attention Parents” if your son or daughter is a senior and is being unusually nice the past two weeks be prepared. Class rings are scheduled to arrive this week and the "balance” is due. The Girls Varsity basketball team traveled to Fluvanna Tuesday night. The Varsity team came up on the losing end, but showed the pride and determination that it takes to be champions. The Junior Varsity team came out the victor defeating Fluvanna.
Thursday night the Lady Panthers played their first home game, competing with the Manassas Park Cougars. Both the Rappahannock Varsity and J.V. proved to be too might for the Manassas team and easily defeated them.
