Mary Jane Reynolds of Front Royal, a former teacher of speech and drama will be playing Elwood’s frustrated sister Veta Louise. It is her decision to have Elwood committed to a high class sanitarium so that she and Myrtle Mae, Elwood’s equally distressed niece, might haye a normal social life, uncomplicated by an illusory rabbit’s presence that sparks the chain of uproarious situations in the comedy. The part of Myrtle Mae is played by Dr. Barbara Kasbohm, a Flint Hill veterinarian and newcomer to the stage.
