Brookside, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Kilpatrick, is a fine old American Federal house built in three sections, the first in 1805. One addition was made in 1850 and another in 1905. It is situated amid stately oaks and huge American boxwoods. -The house has old pine and chestnut floors in some sections.
Pastel Williamsburg paints have been used on the interior of the gracious, old Colonial home which is furnished with many walnut Empire and Victorian pieces handed down from the Kilpatricks' grandparents.
