The Virginia State Federation of Garden Clubs met in Roanoke May 9-11. It was the 50th anniversary of the Virginia Federation.
Mrs. Joseph Nordone, Mrs. Howard Holschuh, Mrs. H. C. Sutherland. Mrs. Douglas Fairfax. Mrs. Paul Frantz and Mrs. Frank Gannon attended from the Rappahannock Club.
Mrs. Nordone, president of the local club accepted four awards for her club.
Next year’s convention will be held in Arlington.
