Field trips to a variety of amusement and educational centers are available through the Parks and Recreation Department.
An expedition to Kings Dominion is planned for June 15, a trip to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor July 6, to Busch Gardens July 20 and the Washington National Zoo Aug. 3.
The trip to Kings Dominion costs $16 and check made payable to J. E. Cox, Treasurer, must be received by the Parks and Recreation office by June 1. The bus leaves Fauquier High School at 9 a.m. and returns at 9 p.m.
The Baltimore trip also leaves at 9, returning at 6. Transportation cost is $12 and deadline for registration is June 15.
