The 'Rappahannock County High* Boosters held their flVial meeting of the 1982-83 school year on May 16th. Officers for 1983-84 were elected. -They are:
President - Nancy Schoppet
Vice-President - Chris Eidson
Secretary - Marie Davis
Treasurer - Margaret Strawser
At the meeting the Boosters recounted the highlights of the year. A back-to-school dance was held in September, followed bv the highly-successful "Friendship Follies” in October.
Proceeds from these events were used to buy microscopes and other science equipment for the high school science department.
Last month the boosters sponsored a talent show which was also well-supported. The group is purchasing solar-powered calculators for the math department with the money raised from the show.
The young club is looking forward to increased membership next year, enabling them to accomplish even more.
