Auction Items Needed

The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department desperately needs items for their spring auction.

RAAC Presents

This Saturday at 8:00, this Sunday and Monday at 7:00 at the Gay Street Theatre, RAAC will present Das Boot, a widely-acclaimed foreign naval epic. Tickets are available at the box office, or use your RAAC film club season ticket.

Fire & Rescue Meeting

The Castleton Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, June \ at 8 p.m. at the fire hall. All members are urged to attend.

Car Wash Rescheduled

The downpour last weekend forced rescheduling of the car wash and bake sale planned by the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Youth Group.

The fund raising activity will be held this Saturday, May 28, at the Second National Bank, Southgate Shopping Center in Culpeper, from noon to 5. A first rate exterior cleaning job on cars is offered for $3. Trucks are $4. Fresh baked goods will also be available.

All proceeds from the events will go to finance the Youth Group’s summer camping trip to Cape May, New Jersey.

Benefit Dinner

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department will serve a fundraising ham and turkey dinner on Saturday, June 4, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the fire hall. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for children 12 years and under.
