Schmidt Takes
VPPA Ribbons
F ranklin Schmidt of Woodville came away with a list of honors from the Virginia Professional Photographers Association’s 85th annual convention in Roanoke last week.
Schmidt’s photo of beach scene was awarded a blue ribbon in the pictorial category and his aerial shot of the Viscose plant in Front Royal won a red ribbon in the commercial and industrial category. In addition, four of Schmidt’s photographs were selected for display at the convention.
The Woodville photographer was also elected to the VPPA’s board of governors and named editor of the group’s quarterly magazine. The Virginia Professional Photographer.
