Total premiums for the increased coverage recommended by Rosenthal amount to $11,151.
The consultant also reported that coverage for the Library Board (including $95,000 on building and contents, $50,000 on books, $25,000 on “extra expenses" and $500,000 legal liability stemming from injury on the premises) can be added to the county’s package. If approved by the Library Board which will reimburse the supervisors for the premium, cost will be $454.
In a second unanimous vote, the supervisors agreed to contract with Clement Insurance Company of Culpeper, one of two low bidders, for the county’s insurance coverage.
