Meeting Rescheduled
The regular monthly meeting of the Flint Hill Fire Department will be held on Tuesday, July 3, instead of Wednesday, July 4.
Barbecue Benefit June 30
The 22nd annual Amissville Ruritan clubpit cooked barbecue will be held Saturday, June 30 at the Amiasville fireball from 5 to 8 p.m. Admission is adults, 16.00, children under 12, $3.00.
Talent Showcase And Dance
A talent showcase and street dance will be held on Saturday, June 23. The showcase sponsored by RAAC will be at 7:30 at the Gay Street Theater. Live music will be provided for the street dance that will take place on Gay and Jett Streets. Admission is $2.00 for children, $3.60 RAAC and $4.50 others for the show, $5 and $6.60 for both the show and dance and $3 for the dance. Tickets are on sale at Rush River, Middle Street Gallery and RAAC. Call 675-3193 for further information.
July Gala Scheduled
The Front Royal-Warren County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a July Gala at the home of Larry and Nancy LeHew at Bel Air on Sunday, July 1, rain or shine. The festivities begin at 4 p.m.
Admission is $25 for two, and will offer a shot at one of three give-aways of $1,000, $600 or five days in Myrtle Beach.
Barbecued chicken, free beer, a cash bar, live band and fireworks at dark will make a memorable day.

Campers still are welcome to participate in the 4-H summer day camp at Harmony Hollow that begins its second session Monday, June 26.
