McNear and the late Dr. Robert Kavarnes. When we owned the ski area, we never contemplated forcing its development in a way that would be objectionable to the residents of Harris Hollow or which in any way would create problems for the county generally. I don’t want to see that happen now.
In addition, I am also familiar with the practices and procedures by which Industrial Authorities provide revenue bond financing in the Commonwealth of Virginia. I was one of the founding members of the Fairfax County Virginia Economic Development Authority and served on that Authority during the period 1963-78. For part of that time, I served as chairman.
