ported without a police escort while in others narcotics cannot be kept overnight without specific prescription. Who transports? The sheriff? The State Police? Who checks up on the storage? And how often must this be checked? Who checks that patients are not kept in restaints beyond the recommended 24hour period? Who is responsible for oversight of hypodermic needles and syringes or just plain ordinary garbage? How many emergency drills and mock evacuations are recommended? How much community time and money will these things cost? Who will be in charge of joint planning for emergencies?
Mr. Snead says that in case of our usual and annual emergencies, floods, snow storms and so on, we would be one happy family and put on another pot of soup and log on the fine.
Some of the mentally disabled cannot feed themselves, let alone make soup. And it does seem unwise to puvit a psychotic next to an open fire, let alone to encourage one to throw the logs around. In fact there probably is a body of law that says that they shouldn’t and a body of people who have to enforce the law. And certainly there is a body of taxpayers who must pay for enforcement.
